New contact lens clinical trial
Do your contacts dry out at the end of the day? Do they start to bother you after the first week of wear? Do you love the way they feel the first day out of the packaging? We have great news for you! We are the first office in the Charleston area to offer the new Fresh Day family of breathable daily disposable contact lenses. We are very excited about these lenses, which come in a variety of options for nearsighted, farsighted, astigmatism, and even bifocal prescriptions.
To launch this innovative product, we are starting a clinical trial in our office to compare this lens with other available lens options. If you are accepted into the trial, you will receive the contact lens fitting, follow-up care, and all trial lenses at no cost to you. To be eligible, you will need to have had a comprehensive eye exam within the previous 6 months. If your last exam was longer ago than that, then you will need to have one prior to enrolling in the trial – you can click here to schedule with Dr. Bodkin. You will be responsible for any charges incurred for your comprehensive exam prior to your acceptance into the trial (if you have vision insurance you can use that). During the 30 day trial, you will be expected to return for all follow-up care and answer short surveys at each visit. At the conclusion of the trial, a contact lens prescription will be written for you that is good for one year.
