Jill Yates, OD
Dr. Jill Yates is a native of Jackson, Tennessee. She earned her Bachelor of Science from The University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Tennessee before going on to earn her Doctor of Optometry at Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee.
Dr. Yates completed clinical training across a variety of optometric practice settings, including the Ralph H. Johnson VA Health Care System and Draisin Vision Group in Charleston, South Carolina, as well as The Eye Center in Memphis, Tennessee. Working with diverse patient populations and a wide range of ocular conditions helped shape her comprehensive approach to eye care, with special interests in contact lenses, dry eye disease, and ocular disease management. Dr. Yates is dedicated to providing personalized, patient-centered care and helping her patients achieve their best vision and long-term eye health.
She is an active member of the American Optometric Association and the South Carolina Optometric Physicians Association.
Outside the office, Dr. Yates enjoys spending time at the beach, taking her dog, Odie, for walks, exploring new restaurants, and spending quality time with family and friends.
Dr. Yates is proud to serve the Mount Pleasant community and looks forward to building lasting relationships with her patients while providing personalized, comprehensive eye care for individuals and families of all ages.
